River-side community affected by climate variability.
Zalishchyky, located in western Ukraine along the Dniester River, is a rural area with strong agricultural traditions and rich natural landscapes. The region faces increasing climate risks, including floods, droughts, and ecosystem degradation, which threaten local livelihoods and environmental stability.
As a GRACE replicator region, Zalishchyky will benefit from the knowledge and solutions developed in the demonstrator regions. Through stakeholder engagement and capacity-building activities, the project will support the adaptation of innovative approaches to local conditions.
GRACE will contribute to strengthening community resilience and promoting sustainable rural development in a region facing significant environmental and socio-economic challenges.
